We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their dynamic HR team in Stockton-on-Tees. This role will involve managing a wide variety of complex ER cases, providing expert guidance to senior management, and ensuring that the company adheres to the highest standards of employee relations.  Duties as an Employee Relations Advisor
  • Manage a caseload of complex Employee Relations issues from start to finish, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law and HR best practices to senior management.
  • Support and guide managers through performance management, sickness absence, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Mentor and support junior HR team members, fostering their development and ensuring best practices.
  • Work with external agencies, such as Early Conciliation and Occupational Health, for high-risk cases.
  • Analyse HR data and provide management with insights into turnover, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Skills:
  • A skilled HR professional with substantial experience in Employee Relations.
  • Proficient in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experienced in providing guidance and support to senior leadership on complex employee matters and managing cases. 
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and solve problems effectively
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • The ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and adhere to deadlines.
  • A knowledge of tribunals would be preferred. 
To be successful as an Employee Relations Advisor, you will be a supportive individual, CIPD qualified or qualified by experience, covering similar duties. In return you will receive between £35,000 - £40,000 in salary, working for a business who offer support, and are big on employee recognition.
