We are seeking production operatives for a client in Thornaby, requiring candidates to work in a fast-paced, target-driven manufacturing environment.
Duties include using machinery to manufacture wood furniture, working on a production line, packing flat pack furniture, stacking products, and conducting quality inspections.
Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced warehouse or factory setting, ideally with packing experience, and must possess attention to detail and dexterity for hand packing.
The position offers hours from 6am to 6pm, with shifts available Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
The pay rate for this role is £12.39 per hour, and prior factory experience is required.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for some production operatives for our client based in Thornaby.

Candidates must be aware the role is target driven within a fast-paced manufacturing environment so there is a requirement to cover a lot of distance around the site.

Duties

Using machinery to manufacture wood furniture products

Working on a production line

Packing flat pack furniture

Stacking products

Quality inspection

Required knowledge, skills or experience

Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse

Previous factory experience

Ideally packing experience

Attention to detai; and dexterous as the role includes hand packing
