Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Production Packer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing POS displays, utilizing acrylic bending machines, and assembling displays using PVC glue. Additionally, the role includes packing duties to ensure products are ready for shipment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehousing or manufacturing and who is proficient with hand tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate acrylic bending machines to form and shape display components.
- Use PVC glue to assemble point of sale displays according to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure displays meet company standards.
- Pack completed displays carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly
production targets.
- Report any issues or malfunctions with machinery to the Production Supervisor.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and machinery used in the production of POS displays.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with acrylic bending machines and PVC gluing processes.
- Familiarity with packaging and shipping procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
