To be successful in this role, you should have:

Relevant finance experience within an SME environment, demonstrating your ability to manage cash flow and financial operations independently.
A recognised qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or be a finalist in one of these qualifications, showcasing your strong financial acumen.
Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, along with advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and use lookups for effective data analysis.
Experience handling high invoice volumes and a solid understanding of credit control processes.
A proactive mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.
