What You Will Do:

  • Operate in a generalist EHS capacity, managing day-to-day safety tasks and ensuring compliance.
  • Deliver professional presentations and manage EHS documentation efficiently.
  • Work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and self-sufficiency, especially when working solo or when the team is unavailable.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other in-house systems proficiently for EHS management.
  • Engage in continuous learning and adapt to evolving EHS standards and practices within the engineering sector.
  • Challenge existing processes and practices in a professional manner, serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in EHS.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in an engineering environment, with a strong preference for backgrounds in fabrication, CNC, or similar fields.
  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent as a testament to your expertise in health and safety.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly and challenging practices when necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to company-specific computer systems.
  • A proactive, self-assured approach, able to operate fully on-site and tackle a wide range of EHS tasks.
