Class 1 Driver
Location: Port Clarance, TS2 1SF
Pay rate:
- Minimum Guaranteed Rate:15.39
- Standard Overtime Rate:22.28
- Night Out Allowance:40.90 per night
- Saturday Rates: First 5 hours: 22.28/hour, Beyond 5 hours: 29.20/hour
- Sunday Overtime Rate:29.20/hour
Shift pattern: Mostly Monday to Friday
Guaranteed 40 hours per week with potential for overtime. The work involves working Monday to Friday shifts, weekend overtime will be available on a voluntary basis. Shift start times will be changeable, and nights out will be required as a part of the role
Successful Candidates must have:
- Hold a current LGV C+E licence. We are looking for actual driving experience, and not only how long you have held the licence.
- Hold an up to date and valid Driver Qualification Card.
- Have no more than 3 penalty points on your licence, none of which are related to drink/drug driving offences or dangerous driving
It is desirable for candidates to have;
- An ADR (classes 2 and 9)
- Previous tanker experience
You are required to:
- Be available for PM shifts
- Have the flexibility to do nights out when required at short notice.
- Live within a maximum of 45 mins commute from the location at which you are applying to work.
- Maintain high levels of customer focus with a keen eye for detail and process.
- Be able to follow instructions in line with comprehensive Company procedures and within strict industry guidelines
