Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a Stockton - on - Tees based manufacturing and engineering business with the appointment of HR & Payroll Assistant.

You will be working in a highly skilled dynamic environment in the manufacturing and engineering industry. You will work alongside the HR Advisor and wider team contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. In joining the business, you will have the opportunity to develop your skill set allowing you the opportunity to get involved in exciting projects making a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing HR Reports
  • Completion of monthly payroll processes
  • Maintaining holiday and absence records
  • Preparing staff communications such as letters, emails, notices etc.
  • Supporting the wider team with employee relations casework such as minute taking and document preparation
  • Supporting the HR Advisor with administrative tasks and employee life cycle processes
  • Organising training and development activities
  • Maintaining occupational health records and producing clinic schedules
  • Reception duties such as answering the phone and greeting visitors
  • Other ad hoc duties in line with business requirements within the scope of your responsibilities and skill set

We are looking to speak with candidates with previous human resources, administration and payroll experience who are looking to take the next step in their career. There will be occasional travel in the Teesside area so a valid drivers license and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial.
