Merco Medical are proudly recruiting, in partnership with Independent Assessment Services, for a Nurse, Physio or Paramedic to work on the DWP's Personal Independence Payment service.
This role is hybrid and all full and part-time roles now include a flexible self-led schedule following a 6-week working pattern based on your preferences, in agreement with your line manager.
As a Nurse/AHP Assessor you will:
- Use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct paper-based reviews of claims, independent health assessments and to write reports for the DWP.
- You will be using your critical reasoning skills and drawing upon your clinical experience, skills & knowledge to ensure that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified, and professional.
- Use your clinical expertise in a new way whilst enjoying a great work-life balance with excellent benefits.
Requirements:
- At least one year’s post NMC/HCPC registration Nursing or AHP experience working with people aged 16 to 64.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a competent user of IT.
