About the Role: Our client, a prominent insurance provider, is looking for a dedicated Underwriting Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to the business, working closely with e-trade, DA, and external insurers to ensure efficient and accurate processing of new business, MTA quotes, documents, renewal invitations, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the underwriting team and wider business with various administrative tasks.
  • Operate under the rules of any Delegated Authority in place.
  • Process and prepare renewals.
  • Handle referrals and provide necessary information for swift processing.
  • Communicate with customers via telephone, email, post, and SMS.
  • Complete basic risk-related reports and assist underwriters in managing risk.
  • Maintain accurate customer records following all interactions.
  • Recognise and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate efficiently with team members.
  • Build relationships with insurers to maximise opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify efficiencies and improvements within systems and processes.
  • Assist in business transfers in line with company strategy.
  • Ensure all protocols are followed correctly.
  • Proactively manage self-development and learning.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to challenges and provide assistance to all departments when required.
