The Role and School
SEND and SEMH schools in Stockton-on-Tees are looking to appoint a passionate Nurturing Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. Working in these wonderful school as part of an established team, the desired Nurturing Teaching Assistant will be working both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis supporting pupils with Learning Difficulties, Autism, challenging behavior and SEMH. 

Requirements
The requirements for the Nurturing Teaching Assistant (SEND) position are:

  • Experience of working with vunrable children or adults.
  • Be resilient and able to meet demands of a special school setting.
  • Understands the needs of students with learning difficulties.
  • Right to work in the UK 
  • Be willing to travel to Stockton and surrounding areas.
