Our client is a long established law firm recognised and trusted for providing a range of quality legal services and is seen as one of the North East’s largest and most successful law firms across a number of office locations.They are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant who is keen to continue their development as they look to grow their successful Conveyancing team to be based in their Stockton office.You will be skilled in providing administrative support to a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Senior Conveyancing Executive and be capable of using a high degree of self-management and initiative. Main Duties include:- Attending to clients on the phone, by email and in person whilst presenting a professional and friendly image inkeeping with the Firm's standards of client care. - Review incoming post and ensure the Fee Earner is aware of matters to be addressed.- Assist in providing updates to clients, solicitors and estate agents.- Update referrers using electronic spreadsheets and portals.- Prepare Stamp Duty Land Transaction returns.- Prepare standard letters and emails. - Ensure documents are saved to the client file in accordance with departmental procedures and files are kept up to date on a daily basis. You should ideally have: - Experience of working in a conveyancing environment.- Discretion and confidentiality. - Excellent organisation skills. - An ability to work to strict deadlines. They are looking for people with positivity, energy and a can-do attitude who will fit into any of their teams.  What’s in it for you?
