The companyOur client is a high volume manufacturing site looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership and direction to the team.The roleReporting to the Factory Manager, you will provide effective leadership, management and direction to both the maintenance and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure delivery of a high quality engineering service to support this fast paced plant.  As part of the senior management team, you will provide the technical engineering advice, guidance and challenge to the site decision making process.   The personWith a strong maintenance & engineering background you will have the ability to inspire and lead an established engineering team whilst developing and mentoring the less experienced members of the team.  With a commitment to look to drive and maximise reliability for the plant you will demonstrate the ability and communication skills to challenge senior managers to ensure appropriate time is allocated to deliver an effective predictive and preventative maintenance plan to maximise equipment reliability.  This is a challenging role to enable you to build on your experience to date and have an influence in the wider plant decision making process.
