Job Description:

January 2025 - May 2025

Vision for Education Supply Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in the Northallerton TS18 area. This is a full-time position, ideal for an experienced educator who is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. Working specifically within a mixed Y4/5 class across a 5 day week, with a potential to become permanent depending on the needs of the school following the position ending.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to KS2 students.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development and well-being.
  • Prepare students for the transition to secondary education, ensuring they meet academic and personal milestones.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching KS2 students, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment standards.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
