Sonic Summary

The position is for a Prison Plumber requiring checks EL1 or EL2, a full driving licence, and appropriate trade qualifications.
Candidates must have a gas safe registration card and Legionella Control (L8) certification, along with at least 3 years of continuous residency in the UK due to security vetting.
The role involves completing a Planned Preventative Maintenance programme and working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7am and 5pm.
Experience with Maximo maintenance systems or similar, along with routine and non-routine maintenance skills, is essential for this role.

Role Specific Requirement:

Required checks EL1 or EL2
Full Driving Licence
Appropriate trade qualification
Gas safe registration card
Legionella Control (L8)
Due to security vetting, candidates are required to have at least 3 year's continuous residency within the UK.

Main Purpose: To ensure the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme is completed in line with specifications and Work Packages. Please note, this role will be working within a prison environment.

37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working 7.5 hour shift per day between the hours of 7am - 5pm.

Person Requirements:

Experience:

Maximo maintenance system experience or similar package
Experience in operating light plant

Responsibilities:

Routine and non-routine maintenance
Fault finding
Identification of life expired equipment
Check, repair and make good faults and life expired equipment
Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
Mains water supply repairs
Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to agreed method statements
Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant
