Are you a dedicated and ambitious Pharmacist with a passion for quality and accreditation? Join our dynamic team in the Pharmacy department at the University Hospital of North Tees where you can progress your career further and provide top quality care to our patients.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and GPhC accredited Pharmacist from either a Hospital or a Community background, to lead our Pharmacy team in prescribing and dispensing prescriptions to hospital patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of a Clinical Pharmacy Team, to be responsible for the provision of Specialist Clinical Pharmacy Services to patients.
  • To have a commitment to dispensaries and to deliver the highest possible professional standards therein.
  • In absence of a more senior Pharmacist to take professional responsibility for the dispensary including supervision of band 6 pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Assistants and pre-registration pharmacists.
  • To complete a rotational training plan experiencing all major clinical areas within the Trust.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy plus successful completion of pre-registration training year (or earlier equivalent.)
  • Member of General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Prescribing Qualification
