North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking an experienced Plaster Technician to provide a high quality service for patients within the Orthopaedic Outpatients department.

Main duties of the job
- Provide patient centred casting for orthopaedic outpatients
- Carry out a full range of plaster techniques both routine and complex including specialist and synthetic casts as well as resting/functional splinting, casting bracing and focused rigidity casting
- Be responsible for supporting the patient during cast application and removal and will ensure patients are given appropriate advice re care of their cast and splint
- Have enhanced additional support from the Senior Plaster Technician and registered Nurses
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Care certificate
- BAO Registered Plaster Technician
- Plaster room experience
- Orthopaedic experience
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable
