Our Client:We are extremely happy to be supporting our industrial manufacturing client as they set up a brand new site in the Teesside area to support their customer base within the North East, by appointing into a Workshop Supervisor role.  The opportunity:The Workshop Supervisor will have responsibility for the smooth, efficient and safe operation of the site.  The main responsibilities of the role will be:
  • Managing the workshop production, product quality and process efficiencies
  • Effective leadership of the manufacturing team including training and development
  • Ensuring all operations are carried out safely and in compliance with all relevant standards
About you:You will have experience in a Production/Workshop management role previously, within a heavy industrial or heavy fabrication environment.  This role is a great opportunity to support the business in successfully setting up their new facility so you will have good overall knowledge of operational activities and excellent communication skills to be able to influence and lead effectively.
