We are looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter who will ensure the effective delivery of home adaptions (funded through Disabled Facilities Grants) to customers in their homes. You will manage a small team of Technical Officers to ensure that the Council's statutory duties and responsibilities relating to the provision of Disables Facilities Grants are met.
You will ensure that the services complies with appropriate CDM and Health and Safety legislation and that the Council's internal Asbestos Management and procurement arrangements are adhered to. You will possess sound technical knowledge and a familiarity of relevant legislation including (but not limited to) the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
