We are currently recruiting qualified Social Workers for our Children & Families Social Care Teams and Disabled Children's Team.

As a Social Worker in the Children & Families Social Care teams, you will build long-term relationships with children and their families. This varied role involves:

• Responding to, coordinating, and delivering social care services.

• Supporting children on a Child in Need Plan or Child Protection Plan.

• Working with families involved in PLO and court proceedings.

• Providing tailored interventions to support children’s safety and well-being.

• A nurturing environment where your practice will flourish.

• Small, friendly teams and manageable caseloads.

• Dedicated support from an Advanced Practitioner.

• Regular supervision and bespoke learning & development opportunities.

• Excellent post-qualifying training to support your career growth.

• Flexible working options, including:

  • Condensed working hours (e.g., 37 hours over 4 days).

  • Opportunities for home working, depending on service needs.

  • Free on-site office parking and paid mileage (46.9p per mile).

  • Paid accommodation (up to 3 nights) for candidates relocating from outside the Northeast region.

• Strong admin support, including typing assistance and a contracted resource provider for supervised contacts, reducing administrative demands on Social Workers.
