This will potentially be a varied role depending on your skillset and experience and is likely to involve some or all of the following:

  • Case holding adults with a learning disability
  • Assessments and reviews
  • Safeguarding
  • Court of Protection
  • Supporting with Duty

Experience of court work is not essential. If you do not have this experience, the work could be allocated differently.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Fully Social Work England registered
  • Must have strong post-qualified experience working in an adult social care setting
  • Must have experience working with adults with learning disabilities in a statutory setting – it is essential that you have this specialist experience
  • Must be dynamic, motivated, creative and a willingness to join a busy team and provide some invaluable support
