Control Systems Engineer – Power & Renewable Energy Are you an experienced Control Systems Engineer looking to work on diverse and challenging projects in power, renewables, and utilities? We are working with a leading provider of industrial automation and control systems, seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join their team in Stockton-on-Tees. This role will involve working with key clients across various sectors, including utilities. About the Role:As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, focusing on PLC programming (65%), documentation and specifications (25%), and site support (10%). Projects will involve designing and developing automation solutions for power, renewable energy, utilities, and other industries, offering a mix of hands-on technical work and collaborative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:
  • Program PLCs and develop HMI/SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
  • Create system designs and write detailed documentation and specifications.
  • Provide site support for system commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Work with industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.
 What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in control systems engineering.
