Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £20.15

The ideal candidate will work with children that have a range of speech disorders including stammering, dysphagia, DLD, speech delay, neuro-disability & communication disorders such as Autism.

Main duties of the job
- Manage a caseload of children with complex communication needs, conducting assessments, developing, and implementing care plans.
- Provide specialist advice and support to less experienced colleagues and supervise assistant practitioners as required.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and participate in ongoing research and audit projects.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Proven experience in clinical settings, with a strong focus on children’s speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Valid UK drivers licence and access to a car
