The ideal candidate will work with children that have a range of speech disorders including stammering, dysphagia, DLD, speech delay, neuro-disability & communication disorders such as Autism.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage a caseload of children with complex communication needs, conducting assessments, developing, and implementing care plans.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to less experienced colleagues and supervise assistant practitioners as required.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and participate in ongoing research and audit projects.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Proven experience in clinical settings, with a strong focus on children’s speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Valid UK drivers licence and access to a car
