An Accountant to work within the management and statutory Accounts team, who will assist in preparing periodic management accounts for our Gibraltarian entities in preparation for financial audits.

You will play a pivotal role within the management and statutory accounts team supporting the Gibraltarian operations, through the production and subsequent analysis of management accounts for various markets and jurisdictions.

This role will also support the in-house production of our Gibraltarian Statutory accounts and assist with the audit process. As the Business has continued to grow, so have the reporting requirements for these entities, In order to meet these obligations you will be required to work to tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in process improvement, collaboration and analysis. You will work closely with the team and other stakeholders to support ongoing projects as well as focus on continued development and improvement within the department.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Companys hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
AAT Level 4 or ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
Proficient in Excel with an exceptional attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident individual who shows initiative, is inquisitive and has the ability to understand new concepts quickly.
Effective communicator who is able to engage with a wide range of financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of management accounts, alongside balance sheet and duty reconciliations.
Assisting in the completion of accounts support workings and tax packs.
Preparing statutory accounts for the audit process for our Gibraltarian entities.
Assisting with local national statistics returns.
