Our client a leading Technology company based in Stoke On Trent is urgency looking for a Financial Controller. Working within a team, mentoring and dealing with budgets.

Have experience with FX, VAT, audits and tax. Will be in the office and working on different financial control projects

Key Areas:-

  • Oversee preparation of month-end, year-end and statutory accounts
  • Oversee VAT return
  • Manage audit process
  • Manage, mentor and motivate a finance team of 7
  • Budgeting and forecasting and budget analysis
  • Decision making and contributing to financial strategy
  • Provide accurate financial statements, analysis and reports
  • Oversee tax and compliance
  • Develop forecasting models - profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Debtors and creditor management
  • Implementing change and improving performance with process improvements
  • Develop costing and pricing models
  • Manage and build relationships with financial partners, auditors and stakeholders
  • Represent the business in business meetings
  • Other ad hoc tasks

Key Skills:-

  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in an FC role
  • Qualified
  • System implementation/upgrade experience
  • FMCG experience desirable
  • Sage experience desirable
  • Team management experience
