Our client a leading Technology company based in Stoke On Trent is urgency looking for a Financial Controller. Working within a team, mentoring and dealing with budgets.
Have experience with FX, VAT, audits and tax. Will be in the office and working on different financial control projects
Key Areas:-
- Oversee preparation of month-end, year-end and statutory accounts
- Oversee VAT return
- Manage audit process
- Manage, mentor and motivate a finance team of 7
- Budgeting and forecasting and budget analysis
- Decision making and contributing to financial strategy
- Provide accurate financial statements, analysis and reports
- Oversee tax and compliance
- Develop forecasting models - profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
- Debtors and creditor management
- Implementing change and improving performance with process improvements
- Develop costing and pricing models
- Manage and build relationships with financial partners, auditors and stakeholders
- Represent the business in business meetings
- Other ad hoc tasks
Key Skills:-
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in an FC role
- Qualified
- System implementation/upgrade experience
- FMCG experience desirable
- Sage experience desirable
- Team management experience
