About The Job:

As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will have the exciting opportunity to support the preparation of analytical reports for internal management and external reports to auditors. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Consolidating a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis to facilitate the year-end process and reconciliation.
  • Providing support to the budgeting and forecast function.
  • Building strong relationships with various departments on items of a capital nature.
  • Accurately processing and monitoring additions and disposals.
  • Ensuring documentation is in place for audit sampling and mitigating risk.
  • Proactively addressing ad hoc requests.

The skills and experience to help you excel in this role:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in the transacting and controlling of all aspects of fixed assets.
  • Strong understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
  • Knowledge of finance system management and internal control.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proactive and positive approach to tasks.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK from your first day of employment.
