Overview

Mitchell Adam are excited to assist a growing SME organisation in Stoke-on-Trent with their search for a talented and dependable Management Accountant. This organisation has grown at a steady but impressive pace in recent years and have their eyes on further expansion over the next five years. They're looking to bolster their finance function by bringing on a talented individual with confidence in producing management account packs. The role could require regular travel to Manchester as the organisation have begun to expand across the North West.

As a Management Accountant, you will be working closely with the Financial Controller who will be able to assist your transition into the organisation. You will be also producing detailed reports on the financial health of the organisation and being a crucial part of budgeting and forecasting meetings and processes.

Skills Required
  • To be confident producing management account packs, and completing duties such as variance analysis, reconciliations and posting journals.
  • To be confident when interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, as your insight and commentary will be taken into consideration in decision making meetings.
  • To have a strong level of experience with reporting and analysis as you will be producing detailed reports throughout your time in this position.
  • To either be currently studying your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to already have a strong background in accounting and to consider yourself "Qualified by Experience"
