Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Director and working as part of a small and close knit team you will take responsibility for:
- Weekly sales reporting and analysis
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register, depreciation calculations & journal postings
- Complex reconciliations and full control of the AP ledger
- Take accountability for Accruals and Prepayments, including deferred income posting
- Supporting the Finance Director with the production of monthly management accounts and supporting information, alongside cash forecasting
- Supporting the year end process
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
- Working closely with department heads therefore the ability to build relationships is essential
What you will need to succeed:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience
- Knowledge of transactional finance and management accounts
- Eperience operating as a Management Accountant or at a similar level within a £10m turnover business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain relationships and interact at all levels
- Knowledge of SAGE would be advantageous but not essential, experience of using Excel for reporting is a must
