SF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our growing clients team in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will deliver professional and effective financial accounting and control, providing high-quality reporting and analysis of monthly financial records. This role involves coordinating the budgeting and forecasting process, supporting the Finance Director with monthly management accounts, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting and reporting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

- Preperation of monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations - Prepare financial reports to support commercial stakeholders - Preperation of budgets and forecasts- Balance sheet reconciliations - Audit preparation - Manage ledgers - Processing VAT returns - Drive process improvements

Skills and Attributes: - Excellent communication and collaborative skills. - Ability to work effectively and sensitively as part of a team. - Proactive approach, able to use own initiative, and willingness to accept responsibility. - Effective time management skills to meet accounting and reporting deadlines. - High level of attention to detail and accuracy. - Studying a Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). - Thorough understanding of management accounting principles
