Our client, an established local business operating for over 100 years are recruiting a brand new role for a Site Accountant/Controller due to company growth. This is a brand new role which has been created due to the inception of a new division for the company, as such the accounting to date has been undertaken by the wider group but due to continued growth they are now seeking to appoint a dedicated accountant/controller to manage the end to end financial obligations for the division, and longer term grow a team underneath.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking full responsibility for all management and financial accounting aspects for the divisions.
  • Business partnering with operational stakeholders, and supporting the GM/MD to forecast performance.
  • Reporting to the board on performance to budget, presenting variances and suggesting improvements.
  • Lead POC with the auditors
  • Supporting and development of financial systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Leading and developing a small team (longer term)
  • Liaising with the sister manufacturing company (Germany)
