Role responsibilities- Overseeing the tax department and setting the strategic direction for the firm’s tax offering
- Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services
- Delivering technical expertise and proactive advice on complex tax planning and structuring
- Leading and mentoring the tax team, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and driving client satisfaction
- Identifying opportunities for business growth, expanding the firm’s tax services and client base
- Staying updated on changes in tax legislation and ensuring compliance across all areas
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver seamless and integrated client solutions
- Representing the firm externally, enhancing its reputation and building networks within the tax advisory market

Candidate Requirements- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified, with extensive experience in both personal and corporate tax
- Proven ability to provide technical expertise and strategic advice across all tax areas
- Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and managing a high-performing team
- Commercially minded with a track record of identifying and driving growth opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to shape and deliver the firm’s tax strategy
- £100,000 to £140,000 per annum
