Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to announce their newly established partnership with an expanding PE backed organisation. This organisation are looking to hire an energetic Trainee Accountant to start working in their offices in Stoke-on-Trent. They're looking for an individual with a passion for finance, and ideally someone with either a small amount of experience working in accounting, or a level of relevant qualifications such as a degree in Accounting and Finance, or a strong level of numerical skills.

This organisation really has a push on training and upskilling and are looking to transform the successful applicant from a Trainee Accountant to an experienced individual with a fantastic accounting ability. A low level of experience is admired, but not essential for this role. You will be completing tasks which include processing invoices and communicating with stakeholders over the phone and via email. This organisation provides a terrific study support package, alongside the option to work in a hybrid working style, once you have passed your probationary period.

Skills required
  • It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have studied an accounting related qualification, or have an accounting related degree.
  • Fantastic communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be collaborating closely with your new team, and also interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will need to display an excellent work ethic, and have an ambition to go further into this industry.
  • To have an excellent numerical ability, and a history of working in environments where communication skills are required. Such as customer service roles.
