Well known and growing business based in the Stoke area requires a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a newly created role. You will facilitate and support the Head of Finance day to day finance tasks, as well as assisting with a variety of aspects contributing to the month end process.
Duties will include:
- Assisting the Head of Finance with the month end reconciliation processes
- Cost of sales reconciliation, sales reconciliation and general overheads review.
- Producing month end reports
- Produce and develop various weekly / daily internal control reports; gaining full responsibility of the maintenance of the groups fixed assets registers, including monthly reconciliation and posting of depreciation journals.
- Overseeing the Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger when needed
- To produce and circulate internal and external reports to the required deadlines as/when needed.
- To undertake adhoc financial reporting as required.
- Supporting the Head of Finance with year-end accounting and liaison with auditors.
- Producing reports to present to senior management
- Maintain systems to ensure quality and accuracy of information being recorded and/or presented.
The right candidate for this role will be someone who is maybe QBE/Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA and is looking for a role in an SME that will offer growth as the business grows.
