You will be led by two qualified finance professionals to maintain the financial ledgers and standard costing system and undertake other various tasks.Based in Stoke-on-Trent, you will be working within a small and successful Finance team, where you will support and contribute towards the businesses continued success. This opportunity is not to be missed - the business boasts a hybrid working model, 25 days holiday and an early finish on a Friday.What experience we need from you?

To monitor Sundry GRNI/Stock GRNI accounts
To analyse monthly transaction reports
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation and keying in of month-end journals including prepayments and accruals
To assist the Management Accountant with the Annual Standard Costing exercise
Maintenance and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
To prepare weekly/monthly Shopfloor data collection information
To work with the Management Accountant to continually improve processes

What you will need to succeed?

Strong Microsoft Excel skills
You must be self-motivated, and enthusiastic and have a strong willingness to learn and progress
Qualified by experience or studying towards AAT
