Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial & Industrial Electrical Installerbased in Stoke-on-Trent. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and other electrical infrastructure within commercial and industrial sites.
- Ensure all installations are carried out in compliance with current electrical regulations, including adherence to the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
- Perform testing and inspection of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and the relevant electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, making necessary repairs or replacements as required.
- Work with a variety of electrical equipment such as switchgear, panels, motors, and control systems.
- Provide on-site support and liaise with project managers and clients to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Travel to various sites as needed (door-to-door pay will apply for all travel time).
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit diagrams, control panels, and electrical safety.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve electrical faults effectively.
- Full UK driving license is essential as the role involves travel to various sites.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
- Must be able to work efficiently and meet deadlines while maintaining high safety standards.
- Previous experience working on large commercial and industrial projects would be advantageous.
