I’m working with a world class tier one manufacturer that is a key supplier into some of the most prestigious Automotive OEM’s.

Due to significant business growth, they are looking to expand their Product Development offering by adding several talented Product and Process Engineers to their team. The role will be on a hybrid basis, with the flexibility of working from home with occasional travel to one of their sites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading product development activities from award to end of production.
  • Assess product maturity and feasibility by initiating tests and trials vs. Customer Requirements and Critical Characteristics.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Achieve a profitable and successful product development phase.
  • Support continuous improvement.
  • Actively supporting production phase until completion.
  • Maintain key focus on quality, safety and environment.

You will have the following:

  • Strong product development experience within the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of risk analysis assessment methodologies (DFMEA).
  • Experience of using costing principles and models (PCC).
  • Able to deliver high quality technical documentation.
  • Experience with NVH product and materials such as textiles, PU Foam, Felt technology would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Degree qualified.
