Job Title: Fixed Asset Accountant
Location: Stoke
Salary: up to 50,000
We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about process improvement and development, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a regular basis to assist with the year-end process and reconciliation.
- Provide support to budgeting and forecasting functions.
- Build strong relationships with various departments on capital-related matters.
- Accurately process and monitor asset additions and disposals.
- Mitigate risks by ensuring comprehensive documentation for audit sampling.
- Handle ad hoc requests proactively.
What We're Looking For:
- Fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in fixed asset transactions and controls.
- Solid understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong knowledge of finance system management.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, positive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required from the first day of employment.
