Hybrd working - 2 to 3 days per week office based

Salary: £45k + Incentivisation package

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Account Manager to join our dynamic team and help us elevate our product offerings and brand presence.

Job Description: The Product Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of product strategies and brand initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet market needs and align with our brand values. Have a strong understanding to the customers strategies and hold the key relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, brand strategy, and a passion for driving business growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management & development

  • Create and present commercially driven activity proposals, working alongside buyers to maximise range sales
  • Development opportunities - Identify, understand, define and deliver - turn buyer challenges into opportunities
  • Manage delivery of promotional activities (FSDUs)
  • Manage all supplier & manufacturing relationships

Commercial

  • Budget - own commercial forecast & P&L of the managed brands
  • Oversee all supply related commercials, Freight costs.
  • Own all product pricing both buy & sell
  • Own all manufacturing commercials

Product, Brand & Category Development

  • Oversee brand, product and category development including spend allocation to meet customer objectives.

Supply Chain

  • Oversee all elements of the supply chain of all supplier orders including far east orders, retailer orders and are all delivered in full and on time
  • Oversee all elements in relation to customs clearance requirements
  • Oversee sufficient stock levels are maintained to maximise availability whilst achieving the inventory target

Technical & Ethical

  • Oversee Product specification & compliance to relevant British standards are met
  • Oversee all Trading Standards are met
  • Oversee all quality control, product complaints and any potential product recalls.
  • Manage UKCA / CE declarations of conformity for relevant products
  • Ensure Ethical adherence of suppliers (Declaration / Audit depending on risk)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role within the Retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, brand strategy, and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and CRM software.
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
