An exciting business based in Stoke, who are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk due to a number of acquisitions.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

* Reconciliation of supplier statements* Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details* Process invoices, credit notes, and refunds* Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments* Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries* Assist in month-end reporting procedures* Support the finance department in daily duties

Profile

* Prior experience in a purchase ledger or similar role (desirable but not essential).* Strong experience using Accounting Software and proficient in MS Excel.* Demonstrable experience in bookkeeping and accounting procedures - desirable.* A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.* Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
