About us

DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent -4* hotel, 147 guest bedrooms, 9 function rooms and onsite leisure club.

Are you an ambitious Head Chef at a similar sized Hotel/Restaurant and are you looking to work in a fun, stimulating and engaging environment?

Well, then put your knifes down because we would like to hear from you!

You will have independence over the day-to-day management of the kitchen in terms of rotas, team recruitment and the various menus whilst, together with the F&B managers, youll ensure that all guest satisfaction requirements are met.

It goes without saying that food hygiene should be at the top of your agenda!

You will also manage your staffing and food cost of sales like it is your own restaurant!

Direct and organise the back of house strategy to maximize profitability and quality

Lead a team of Chefs to drive success in their individual roles.

Faced paced environment during the festive period- must have strong banqueting experience/background

Analyses financial data, builds a budget, and develops strategies aimed at increasing efficiencies and profit

Prepare updates on the success of kitchen for senior leadership

Participate in employee hiring, assignment, training, payroll, scheduling, evaluations and terminations

Document, investigate and resolves employee and guest incidents

Performs other duties as required or assigned

You will actively participate in the creation and change of menus in the restaurant, bar and C&B departments where needed.

As a key member of the hotels management team, you will participate by attending management meetings and enjoy learning yourself whilst developing and teaching the members of your team.
