Building Surveyor - Stoke-on-Trent

Building Surveyor - an established provider of Extra Care and Retirement Living is searching for a Building Surveyor to join their growing capital works team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to manage a variety of capital works projects to elderly living sites across Stoke-on-Trent.

In this role you will work remotely, visiting sites to undertake surveys, provide technical support, project manage and contract administration of a capital works schemes including renovations, refurbishments, kitchens, bathrooms, reroofing, external works, reconfigurations and decorations.

Requirements:
- Experience managing projects from conception to completion
- Experience working with a contractor or client side
- Experience dealing in a customer facing role
- Industry related qualification

Key Duties:
- Undertake site surveys and project manage major capital works
- Work with care home managers to identify areas of improvement
- Prepare specifications and review contractor tenders
- Undertake technical inspections and prepare reports

Salary & Package:
- Great basic salary of £62,250
- Car leasing scheme available
- Mileage allowance of £45p (home to site)
- Up to 9% pension matched
