We are seeking a Principal Building Control Surveyor to play a pivotal role in managing, developing, and enhancing our Building Regulations services. What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage a team of Building Control professionals, including surveyors and trainees.
  • Support the Team Manager in operational management and deputize as required.
  • Ensure the authority meets statutory building regulation requirements and national standards.
  • Oversee safety matters for sports grounds and high-rise buildings, with a focus on fire escape strategies.
  • Manage partnerships with local authorities and businesses to secure additional work and expand services.
  • Handle dangerous structures and emergency building safety issues, including out-of-hours response.
  • Develop marketing strategies to counter external competition and secure new business opportunities.
