Area Sales Engineer - CNC Cutting tools

This prominent, longstanding, successful organisation is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of tools for metalwork including turning, grooving and milling. They supply tools and tooling solutions throughout Europe and in order to further strengthen their team, they require a talented Area Sales Engineer.

You will be responsible for the promotion of a range of high-quality cutting products and solutions to the Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace sectors. Working from home and reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be managing existing accounts and developing new business selling directly and via customers within a distribution network. You will be covering the ST, WV, DY, TF, SY and LL postcodes and should ideally live in the Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton or Dudley areas.

Ideally, you will already be enjoying a successful career selling metal cutting tools. You should be comfortable reading Engineering drawings and will have a Mechanical Engineering qualification or will have served a technical apprenticeship. Alternatively, you could have experience in CNC machining or programming machines and perhaps sold a similar product into the Manufacturing, Automotive or Aerospace sectors. You should be a disciplined, target-driven individual and whilst you will inherit accounts, it is important that you have the desire and ability to win profitable new business. A comprehensive induction programme and product training are offered and whilst excellent support will be provided, you should be capable of working on your own initiative. Youll have first class communication and negotiation skills combined with a winning mentality.
