Who we are looking for

A Senior Training Officer, who will design, deliver and evaluate training and eLearning solutions that complement the specific capabilities of colleagues working in our technical and facilities teams.Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager, you will be a training professional with experience of consulting with technology and facilities managers and implementing learning and development interventions within a global environment.You will also support the further development and delivery of our global Management Development Programme.As part of this role you may be required to travel to our overseas offices for short periods of time.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Experience of developing personal and interpersonal skills across diverse teams.
  • Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating comprehensive and effective management and leadership development programmes.
  • Ability to present verbally and non-verbally through a variety of formats.
  • Self-motivated with the desire to develop and motivate others.
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing at a senior level.

Main Responsibilities

  • Engaging with technology and facilities managers to identify required learning and management development needs, making recommendations for change where appropriate.
  • Designing new learning and training interventions and producing materials in accordance with the needs of the department and stakeholders.
  • Delivering effective training modules to people at all levels, including Senior Management.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing learning and training interventions and materials based on established principles and models.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of research and trends within the learning and development sector.
