Join our public sector client as a Switchboard Operator! We are looking for a professional, reliable and flexible individual that is passionate about providing exceptional service. You will possess excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, whilst supporting the general public.

  • Temporary ongoing role with full-time working hours. Working on a shift rota 5 over 7 days, including some weekends.
  • Shifts are - 6AM-2PM, 8:30AM-4:30PM, 9AM-5PM, 10AM-6PM, 1:30PM-9:30PM AND 2PM-10PM.
  • Hourly rate between £11.44PH and £20.94PH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming external and internal calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient, colleague and customer's inquiries and concerns
  • Provide accurate and relevant information regarding services, policies, and procedures
  • Document and update records in an organised manner
  • Maintain a positive and friendly rapport with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex customer issues efficiently

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Adaptable and open to learning new systems and technologies
  • Previous call centre experience is preferred but not required
