Door Scheduler

Location: Fenton

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm and 8am – 4pm on Fridays

Salary: From £23,000 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience)

The role:

We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for a trainee with a passion for joinery to join our leading client based in Stoke-on-Trent. This company specializes in bespoke joinery manufacturing solutions across the UK.

The right candidate will receive full training. Strong GCSE, A-Level, or degree-level grades in Maths are required.

Main duties:

  • Assisting with the production of design drawings and schedules to meet project needs
  • Creating door and ironmongery schedules and drawings (using Excel and AutoCAD)
  • Reviewing test evidence for fire, security, and acoustics to ensure project requirements are met and supporting evidence is provided
  • Reviewing architects' drawings and details
  • Liaising with suppliers, architects, and project managers via Teams calls to refine designs
  • Reviewing all externally procured packages

General Office Administration tasks to support the design team, including:

  • Drafting 'Request for Information' documents (RFIs)
  • Managing internal documents and drawings
  • Handling external drawing portal management
  • Printing and assembling drawing packs for workshop and site teams

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in joinery
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail, able handle measurements
  • Strong GCSE, A-Level, or degree-level grades in Maths
