Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEMH needs in academic and personal development
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with challenging behaviour
  • Collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (not required but prefered )
  • Experience with mental health issues and challenging behaviour
  • Strong understanding of SEMH needs and support strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
