Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for electrical systems and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently on a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with regulations.
Carry out electrical inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis.
Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Work on both new installations and existing electrical systems.
Ensure all electrical work complies with current safety standards and legislation (including BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations).
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Provide technical support and advice where needed.
Perform risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner.
Keep accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

Fully qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (essential).
2391 (essential)
Proven experience as an electrical engineer or electrician in commercial and/or industrial sectors.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid UK driving licence.
ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential).

Desirable Skills:

Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound technical decisions.
Excellent communication skills for client and team interaction.
