Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for electrical systems and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently on a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with regulations.
  • Carry out electrical inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis.
  • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Work on both new installations and existing electrical systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with current safety standards and legislation (including BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations).
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support and advice where needed.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner.
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (essential).
  • 2391 (essential)
  • Proven experience as an electrical engineer or electrician in commercial and/or industrial sectors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential).

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and team interaction.
