Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for an established electrical manufacturer with a strong track record of supporting its team.
The position offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum and requires experience in an electrical engineering role, particularly in cable assembly and electro-mechanical assembly.
You will be involved in engineering projects from product design to complex assemblies, including creating CAD models and detailed schematics.
The company provides excellent benefits, including 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, early finishes on Fridays, and various insurance options.
Training and support will be offered for areas where candidates may lack experience, ensuring a growth-oriented environment.

What you’ll do:As an Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll support engineering projects from product design to complex assemblies, creating CAD models, detailed schematics, and layouts, as well as prototypes.You'll play a key role in product development for new and existing products, end-testing to ensure quality, and supporting the engineering team with quotations, production processes, and fault-finding to meet project requirements and business demands.You'll have the support of a highly skilled and experienced team across multiple departments, contributing to continuous development and innovation while having access to a wealth of expertise whenever needed.What you’ll need:

Experience in an electrical engineering role
Experience in cable assembly, wire harnessing and electro-mechanical assembly
Knowledge of CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD & Catia
UK driving licence and flexibility for occasional travel

What you’ll get:

Up to 35,000 per annum
33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 12:30 finish
