They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Stoke-On-Trent on a permanent basis.The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
  • Experienced working in Food Manufacture ideally
  • A confident Electrical and Mechanical skillset
  • A solid understanding of commercial electrical and plumbing work
  • An Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualification would also be beneficial
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
  • Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
  • PPM and breakdown avoidance
  • Ensuring documentation is maintained, site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
  • Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control
  • Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
  • Working with others and being an excellent team player
