This is a hands-on position working across various electrical systems including overhead cranes, motors, 230V, and 400V circuits. You will play a crucial role in keeping our operation running smoothly by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical installation and modification work.
- Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels.
- Troubleshooting and working on 400V AC and 24V DC control systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing 400V motors.
- Working with overhead cranes and handling motor replacements.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or higher.
- Ideally have completed a full electrical apprenticeship.
- Proficient in reading electrical drawings.
- Strong ability to fault find on 400V AC systems and 24V DC controls.
- Experience with 400V motors.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills (Training Provided If Needed):
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) fault finding and programming.
- PLC fault finding and diagnostics.
- HV switching certification.
